This years Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference is set to be unlike any year past. As a true reflection of the conscientious of the country, the Annual Legislative Conference (ALC) hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s (CBCF) panel discussions and events will center around some of the highly debated topics we hear about daily on the news, in our offices, and in our communities.

Panel discussions and speakers will discuss issues such as gun control, social justice, mental and physical health, education, and labor along with policies that will help shape and change the way our country addresses these topics.

Young professionals of color will have the opportunity to stretch their professional networking wings and attend some of the most high-level receptions and social gatherings hosted throughout the city.

The Influence Nation Summit explores the influences that build and sustain social movements. At the summit, we discuss the drivers and levers for social movements today – messaging, pop culture, networks, technology – and examine how the public moves from understanding to behavior change on issues.
