This month, The Embassy of Italy and Harvard Business School Club of DC hosted an intimate evening with the Ambassador of Italy to the United States, His Excellency Armando Varricchio.

In partnership with Lamborghini, the exclusive event brought together prominent leaders in Washington, DC like Wells Fargo Managing Director Michael Aquilino and many more.

Guests gathered around a shared interest in the style, substance, and society of Italy and spent the evening networking with fellow HBS alumni and Italian diplomats at a cocktail reception and intimate seated dinner.As part of the evening, the HBS Club of DC’s CEO, Antonio Alves interviewed H.E. Ambassador Armando Varricchio about his extensive experience as Sherpa of multiple G-7 and G-20 Summits.

Sherpa’s serve as representatives of a government who prepares an international summit– helping to reduce the amount of time and resources required during negotiations.

The event is part of the HBS Chairman Circle Salon Series– a high-level event series that started in 2014.
