Happy Valentines Day. Wondering how Washington celebrates the day of love?
Last night, tastemakers looking for something other than dinner and a movie on Valentine’s Day braved ice-cold weather to attend QLIKD: Not Another Boring Valentine’s Day. The event is part of CAPITOL STANDARD’s signature event series and took place at Adams Morgan hotspot, Jack Rose Dining Saloon.
The sold-out event featured craft cocktails created by celebrated bartender Trevor Frye. The signature drinks were made with single malt scotch whiskey Glenmorangie Highland.
Jack Rose boasts a wide selection of well-known and rare whiskeys. Upstairs, guests enjoyed a smaller VIP bar complete with balcony and fireplace and a larger cigar bar.
At QLIKD 2018, the event will feature a special tasting of Knob Creek and craft cocktails made with either Jim Beam or SipSmith London. Guests will enjoy a curated playlist created by DJ Lee Tanner of Room Service Music, and VIP guests will enjoy special fireside seating.
